At Tesoros Experiences (“Tesoros Experiences”), protecting your privacy is a responsibility we take very seriously. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to help you understand how Tesoros Experiences collects, uses and seeks to safeguard the Personal Information (as defined below) you provide to us on our websites, via email, and through our service providers and distribution partners.
This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of any third party, including any third-party distribution partners, suppliers and tour operators, and any third party operating any site to which our websites contain a link. By downloading, accessing or using our websites or content, or using a Tesoros Experiences application (“Application”) on a mobile phone, tablet or similar device (“Device”), or providing information to us in connection with our websites, mobile applications or other sites or services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
WHO WE ARE
Tesoros Experiences is an online service that enables users to research and book travel experiences worldwide. Our products and services are made available through tesorosexperiences.com and affiliated websites and third-party partnerships.
If you provide information directly to our affiliates, distributors or suppliers, the terms of their respective privacy policies, and not this Privacy Policy, will apply to such disclosures. You should carefully review the privacy policies of the affiliate partner, distributor or supplier prior to providing information to such third parties. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We receive and store any information you enter on our websites or give us in any other way. We collect two types of information from you. Personal Information is information that identifies you personally, such as your first and last name, email address, telephone number, postal and email addresses, user name and password, passport number, dat of birth, and billing information (such as your credit card number, cardholder name, and card expiration date). We also collect other Information that does not identify you personally, such as gender, country of residence and other demographic information.
The Tesoros Experiences website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS and email.
When you register or book with Tesoros Experiences, we ask for basic information including your name and email address, and other Information such as your signup location. You can choose not to provide information to us, but in general some information about you is required in order for you to receive relevant offerings from Tesoros Experiences and its partners and enjoy other benefits of being a member or customer. For example, in order to purchase products or services, it is necessary for you to disclose Personal Information, including your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card details and other personally identifying information. If you do not provide Personal Information when purchasing one of our supplier’s products or services, we cannot confirm your purchase or facilitate your booking.
AUTOMATIC INFORMATION
When you visit tesorosexperiences.com or any web page hosted by us, our web server automatically recognizes and collects your IP address, which is assigned by your Internet Service Provider and does not identify you personally, web browser software, and referring website. To help us analyze the usage of our websites and related services, and to send more relevant communications to you, we also collect and keep track of Other Information about your online activity, such as content viewed, pages visited, and searches and/or reservations facilitated or made. One of our goals in collecting this automatic information is to help us understand the interests and preferences of our users and customize your user experience.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
If you book a trip or excursion with third-party suppliers facilitated by Tesoros Experiences, we will collect payment information from you, including your credit card number, cardholder name, expiration date, authentication code, and billing address.
We may offer members the option to save information related to method and choice of payment on our websites. If you save such payment details on Tesoros Experiences, you will be able to add, delete, or modify that information at any time in your Account Settings.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS
You can contribute to the Tesoros Experiences websites in a number of different ways, including but not limited to, writing reviews and rating trips, or submitting photos of your trip. We may store these contributions (your “Content”), publicly display them on our websites and those of our affiliate partners and distributors, display them to other users, share them with our affiliate partners and distributors, and use them for promotional purposes. Note that if you include Personal Information in your Content, it can be used and viewed by others. We are not responsible for the information you choose to include in your Content.
COOKIES, AND HOW WE USE THEM
“Cookies” are pieces of information that are stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard disk, for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in and of themselves only identify your computer; they do not personally identify you.
First-Party Cookies: At Tesoros Experiences we make use of cookies to help us recognize your browser as a previous visitor and save and remember any preferences that may have been set while your browser was visiting our site, record session information, collect information on how you visit and access our websites and Applications. We also use cookies to help us customize the content, experience, and advertisements provided to you on our websites and to analyze and measure the effectiveness of our email communications, website features and offerings, and advertisements.
Most web browsers allow you to turn off cookies; however, turning off cookies will limit your use of our websites.
Third-Party Cookies: Tesoros Experiences and its affiliated websites are committed to providing you with relevant content and information across our site. To do this, we may collect information about your searches and other site activities and use third-party advertising companies to serve ads while you are visiting our websites and we permit these companies to place and access their own cookies on your computer in the course of serving advertisements. Web Beacons: Our websites also may use Web beacons (also known as clear gifs, pixel tags or Web bugs), which are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that are placed in the code of a Web page. We may use Web beacons to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our sites to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our site from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, and to improve site performance. We also may allow our service providers to use Web beacons to help us understand which emails have been opened by recipients and to track the visitor traffic and actions on our site. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our content and other offerings.
Response to Do Not Track signals: Your web browser may transmit a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal to Tesoros Experiences and other websites. Because of differences in web browsers’ default settings and the manner in which browsers incorporate DNT signals, it is sometimes unclear to site operators whether site visitors have selected the DNT setting themselves, or whether they are aware that they have a choice in determining the setting. Tesoros Experiences does not currently respond to DNT signals. Once the Internet industry has settled on standards related to this issue and Tesoros Experiences recognizes such standards, we may reevaluate this approach.

SHARING WITH SOCIAL MEDIA SERVICES
You can choose to access third-party social media websites and services through Tesoros Experiences (such as Facebook and Twitter). When you do so, you are sharing information with those sites, and the information you share is governed by their privacy policies. SHARING WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS
Some of the Personal Information we collect is shared with our service providers (e.g. tour and trip operators) who are directly involved in fulfilling the purchases you have made from us. If you decide to provide any Personal Information directly to a service provider, we recommend that you review the service provider’s privacy policy to determine how such service provider may use or disclose your Personal Information.

Tours, activities and experiences advertised on our site may be made available through our third-party affiliates, distributors and suppliers. Our affiliates, distributors and suppliers may have privacy policies that differ from Tesoros Experiences’s Privacy Policy.
You should also be aware that some product or tour suppliers and some of our affiliates and distributors may need additional Personal Information or Other Information (such as health or physical fitness information) to determine whether you can participate in an activity. You should read and rely upon the relevant supplier, affiliate or distributor Privacy Policy only, if Tesoros Experiences does not collect this information from you directly.
Some affiliates, distributors and/or suppliers may operate in countries or states that do not have laws or regulations for the protection and safeguarding of Personal Information. Tesoros Experiences seeks to take reasonable steps to persuade all its affiliates, distributors and suppliers to adopt and adhere to privacy policies that are substantially similar to this one. However, please be aware that Tesoros Experiences is not in a position to force adherence, so we will rely on you and our other customers to inform us if you believe your privacy is not being adequately protected by our affiliates, distributors and suppliers.

If any part of any Tesoros Experiences website links you to other websites, those external websites do not operate under this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and we recommend that you examine the privacy statements posted on those other websites to understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing personal information.
PROMOTIONS & SWEEPSTAKES
From time to time, Tesoros Experiences may run contests and sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). All entries and participation in these Sweepstakes shall be governed by the Official Rules posted by Tesoros Experiences. By entering a Sweepstakes, each entrant expressly consents to Tesoros Experiences, its Sponsors and Promotion Entities (and their authorized representatives), to collect, store, share and use the personal information submitted with entry for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, prize award and fulfillment, and in accordance with the Official Rules and this Privacy Policy.
VISITING OUR WEBSITE FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
If you are visiting our websites from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. By visiting our site or making a booking, you have given us your express and informed consent to transfer the data that you provide to us to the United States and to process it in the United States. We know that our business will continue to evolve as we introduce new products and services, and, as such, from time to time this Privacy Policy may be reviewed and revised.
Tesoros Experiences reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy by posting the changes on its website. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last updated by reviewing the LAST UPDATED legend above and any revisions will take effect upon posting. CALL RECORDING AND MONITORING
Please be aware that calls to and from Tesoros Experiences may be recorded. We may use the call recordings to monitor our customer service for quality or compliance purposes, to check the accuracy of the information you provide us, for fraud prevention purposes, or to provide training to our staff. We will retain the call recordings for as long as reasonably necessary to perform such activities and then delete them.
