Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco in Mexico, is home to a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites that showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region. Here are a few of the most notable sites to visit in Guadalajara:






  1. Tequila Cultural Landscape: This site is located in the Tequila region, about an hour west of Guadalajara.   5. The Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres: This is a monument that honors some of the most important figures from the state of Jalisco, including the father of tequila, Jose Antonio de Cuervo.
